Student Scholarships | BBB Pacific Southwest

Being a great athlete isn’t just about running the fastest or jumping the highest, it is also about doing the right thing. Better Business Bureau (BBB) has partnered with the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) to recognize high school athletes whose ethics stand out to coaches, teammates and fans. BBB and AIA select sixteen BBB Ethical Athletes a year from nominations and award winners a $1,000 scholarship. At the end of the school year, all Ethical Athletes are considered for the BBB Ethical Champion scholarship.

To honor Arizona Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) cadets for their leadership, character, and commitment to service, Better Business Bureau (BBB) joins forces with Salt River Project (SRP) to offer the BBB Ethical Cadet Scholarship to those who have gone beyond the call of duty.

At the Better Business Bureau (BBB), we believe it is never too early to introduce and emphasize the importance of ethics. At the high school level, students begin to face ethical decisions that may impact the rest of their lives. They serve as role models whose moral compass not only guides their actions, but also influences those around them. The BBB seeks to honor ethical students for doing the right thing with the BBB Ethical Torch Essay Scholarship, available in Greater Arizona and Southern California.
